For example, unlike many other driveway cleaners, we will never pressure wash your block paving without completely re-sanding each and every joint with the best quality kiln-dried sand. Although this process is both labour and time intensive, the sand provides the foundation for your blocks and therefore thoroughly replacing it after cleaning is an absolute necessity.

Driveway and Patio Packages
Clean
- Hand/manual removal of surface weeds
- Cleaning of surface joints and haunching (edging) using professional pressure-washing equipment
- Re-sanding of joints
Treat & Clean
- Application of a suitable surface cleaning product or biocide to treat fungi, algae, lichens, mildew, mould and moss as required.
- Application of a suitable herbicide (weed killer) as required.
- Application of a specialised cleaning product(s) for appropriately treating other surface contaminants, such as oil deposits and rust marks.
- Dead weed removal.
- Cleaning of surface joints and haunching (edging) using professional pressure washing equipment, including flat-headed rotary cleaner and turbo lance as appropriate.
- Re-sanding of joints (necessary for all block paving and other paving mediums that uses sand as a foundation).
Treat, Clean, Restore & Protect
- Application of a suitable surface cleaning product or biocide to treat fungi, algae, lichens, mildew, mould and moss as required
- Application of a suitable herbicide (weed killer) as required.
- Application of a specialised cleaning product(s) for appropriately treating other surface contaminants, such as oil deposits and rust marks
- Dead weed removal
- Cleaning of surface joints and haunching (edging) using professional pressure washing equipment, including flat-headed rotary cleaner and turbo lance as appropriate
- Re-sanding of joints (necessary for all block paving and other paving mediums that uses sand as a foundation)
- Application of sealer (two coats) or chosen colour restorer (two coats + one coat of sealer) immediately following re-sanding
Please Note
- When using a herbicide to treat weeds, a period of at least 7 days will need to elapse before cleaning can take place
- When using a pre-treatment cleaning product to remove stubborn stains such as oil deposits, several days may need to elapse before cleaning takes place
- When a sealer is not being used, a period of at least 24 hours will need to elapse between cleaning and re-sanding
- When a sealer or colour restorer is being used, a period of at least 72 hours will need to elapse between cleaning and application of the sealer / restorer
- Sealers and colour restorers need to be applied in temperatures between 12 and 22 degrees Celsius
